With over a decade of experience in the eye care industry, I bring a unique blend of strategic business development, innovative entrepreneurship, and dedicated leadership to the table. As a former Director of Business Development at international giants like Safilo and Rodenstock, I honed my skills in driving growth, expanding markets, and forging key partnerships. Currently, I am the Founder and CEO of Smart Optometry, where we are revolutionizing the field with cutting-edge products such as Amblyoplay and Eye Hero. These innovations are reshaping vision care and rehabilitation, demonstrating my commitment to advancing the industry through technology and creativity.  In addition to my entrepreneurial pursuits, I serve as the President of the Slovenian Optical Association, a delegate of the European Council of Optometry and Optics, and one of the Directors of the European Academy of Optometry and Optics. These roles allow me to influence the industry at both a national and European level, advocating for excellence and progressive practices in optometry and optics on a global level. I also own 2 optometric practices as I follow our 30 years of our family optician' s legacy, where I have performed more than 15.000 eye exams, including the binocular skills assessment, RGP fitting, myopia management and vision therapy.
