With over 15 years of experience in the eye care profession, Matic Vogric combines extensive clinical expertise with a deep commitment to advancing optometry. Building on a 30-year family legacy, he owns and manages two optometric practices, where he has personally performed more than 15,000 eye examinations. His clinical focus lies in binocular vision assessment and training, rigid gas permeable (RGP) fitting, myopia management, and vision therapy.

Matic’s work in binocular vision and functional optometry has positioned him as a leading advocate for innovative, evidence-based approaches in daily practice. He is particularly dedicated to improving outcomes for patients through detailed clinical assessment and the integration of new methods in vision training and rehabilitation.

Alongside his clinical work, he serves as President of the Slovenian Optical Association, a delegate of the European Council of Optometry and Optics, and a Director of the European Academy of Optometry and Optics. These roles allow him to contribute to the profession on both national and European levels, promoting excellence in education and practice.

Matic frequently lectures and shares insights from his practical experience, focusing on the challenges and opportunities in binocular vision, myopia control, and functional vision care.
